This was the 5th studio album from The Eagles, and it proved to be the most successful, with 2 number one singles and over 32 million copies sold worldwide. Entering the charts at number 4, it ultimately kicked Stevie Wonder out of first place, spending 8 weeks at number 1. Ultimately it was edged out in the album battle of 1977 to Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours".
